Flanges & Insulating flange jointsInsulating flange joint is a part of pipeline system that is designed to protect gas regulating device from the impact of electrochemical corrosion. Since large amount of pipes are laid underground, the issue of electrochemical impact is an acute problem for those who operates these systems.

Insulating flange joint is a robust and tight connection of two sections of pipeline which prevents the current passage along the pipeline by means of electro-insulating gasket and bushes.

The insulating flange connection consists of three flanges. As a seal-insulator there is a gasket Ilma based on thermally expanded graphite applied. Flange joint is provided with pins which are isolated from the flange by PTFE bushes. To connect electrical measuring instruments there are three screws in the insulating flange joint.
